About this course
London South Bank University offers MRes Food Sciences as a 2-year postgraduate Masters Degree (Research) programme in Food And Hospitality. Based in London, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £8,800 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 7 overall or TOEFL iBT 60. Intakes run across 3 windows (April, 2027 and September, 2026…).

Entry requirements
Applicants for a Research Degree programme at LSBU are usually expected to have a good honours degree (2:2 and above). Please also supply two academic references as part of your application and your research proposal. The research proposal needs to be no longer than 4 pages, including the rationale, literature review and methodology of the research. You will also be required to show proof of all of your qualifications.
