About this course
Bristol, UWE offers MSc Artificial Intelligence as a 1-year postgraduate Masters Degree (Taught) programme in Artificial Intelligence. Based in Bristol, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £18,000 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6.5 overall or TOEFL iBT 90. The next intake is Autumn (September), 2026.
Scholarships are available to international applicants. The programme includes an industry internship element.

Entry requirements
We normally require an honours degree at 2:2 or above in a relevant subject. Experience with writing code or using a scripting language is essential, so you should provide a detailed description and evidence of prior coding experience in your application. Relevant subjects include: Computer Science, IT or other computing subjects, Maths, Statistics, any Engineering subject, any quantitative subject such as Physics, Chemistry, Business, Economics, or Psychology.If you do not meet the above grade requirements but have at least 12 months relevant professional experience and/ or equivalent qualifications, we will consider you on an individual basis.
