About this course
University of Plymouth offers MSc Artificial Intelligence as a 1-year postgraduate Masters Degree (Taught) programme in Artificial Intelligence. Based in Plymouth, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £21,000 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6.5 overall or TOEFL iBT 90. Intakes run across 2 windows (Semester 1 (September), 2026 and Semester 2 (January), 2027).

Entry requirements
A lower second class (2:2) honours degree or better in a STEM-based discipline. Applicants will need to have a sound awareness of programming and be comfortable in learning programming techniques. Applicants without any prior programming experience may be accepted subject to undertaking preparatory work prior to the start of the programme. Applicants with a lower classification, or substantial industrial experience in lieu of formal qualifications may be considered subject to interview.
