About this course
Aston University, Birmingham offers MSc Artificial Intelligence as a 1-year postgraduate Masters Degree (Taught) programme in Artificial Intelligence. Based in Birmingham, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £24,800 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6 overall or TOEFL iBT 78. Intakes run across 2 windows (Term 1 (September), 2026 and Term 2 (January), 2027).

Entry requirements
We expect applications from graduates of BSc with honours in Computer Science or related disciplines with a qualification equivalent to UK 2:2 or higher. Evidence of knowledge of Mathematics and Programming foundations should also be provided when the degree is not in Computer Science (i.e. transcript of a degree programme or work experience). When a transcript is provided, the Mathematics and Programming grades should be equivalent to UK 60% or higher. Candidates may be interviewed before the offer decision.
