About this course
Aston University, Birmingham offers BEng (Hons) Biomedical Engineering as a 3-year undergraduate Bachelor Degree with Honours programme in Biomedical Engineering. Based in Birmingham, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £22,575 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6 overall or TOEFL iBT 78. The next intake is Term 1 (September), 2026.

Maintenance, Installation and Repair for Engineering Manufacturing Grade D
Engineering Manufacturing Processing and Control Grade D

Building Services Engineering for Construction Grade D
Design, Surveying and Planning for Construction Grade D
The following T levels are accepted qualifications for this course:
Please note that we do not accept the English and Maths components within the Access qualification and you must meet the GCSE entry requirement.
We accept the QAA-recognised Access Diploma which must consist of at least 15 Distinctions and 30 Merits at level 3; including at least 30 credits from STEM (b) subject units.
IB: 29 points overall with 5, 5, 4 including 2 STEM (b) Higher Level subjects.
