University of Bradford offers BEng (Hons) Biomedical Engineering with Sandwich Year as a 4-year undergraduate Bachelor Degree with Honours programme in Biomedical Engineering. Entry requirements
A typical offer requires 104 UCAS tariff points. For A levels, this equates to BCC, including A level Maths at a minimum grade C. T Level applicants should achieve a Merit or higher in one of the following subjects: Science; Maintenance, Installation and Repair for Engineering and Manufacturing; Design and Development for Engineering and Manufacturing; or Engineering, Manufacturing, Processing and Control. For the BTEC Extended Diploma, a grade of DMM is required. For BTEC Level 3 qualifications (2010–2016), the subject must be Engineering and must include Further Mathematics for Engineering Technicians (Unit 28) at a minimum of Merit. For BTEC Nationals Level 3 (from 2016), the subject must be Engineering and must include both 'Calculus to Solve Engineering Problems' (Unit 7) and 'Further Engineering Mathematics' (Unit 8) at a minimum of Merit. Applicants on Access Programmes must achieve 104 UCAS tariff points from an Access to Higher Education Diploma in Engineering or Science and Engineering, including a minimum of 12 credits in Maths at Merit. International Baccalaureate applicants must obtain 104 UCAS tariff points, including Higher Level Maths at grade 5, plus either Higher Level grade 3 or Standard Level grade 4 in English. Additionally, all applicants must have GCSE English and Mathematics at grade C or 4 (or accepted equivalents).
