About this course
Bristol, UWE offers MSc Data Science as a 1-year postgraduate Masters Degree (Taught) programme in Computer Science. Based in Bristol, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £18,000 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6.5 overall or TOEFL iBT 90. The next intake is Autumn (September), 2026.

Entry requirements
Relevant subjects include: Computer Science, IT or other computing subjects, Maths, Statistics, any Engineering subject, any quantitative subject such as Physics, Chemistry, Business, Marketing, Economics, Psychology and Social Sciences.
We normally require an honours degree at 2:2 or equivalent in a relevant subject. Experience with quantitative methods and/or coding is highly recommended.
