About this course
University of Sussex offers International Foundation Year in Science and Engineering as a 1-year foundation-level Foundation for Undergraduate programme in Computer Science. Based in Brighton, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £21,500 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 5 overall. Intakes run across 3 windows (Spring (January), 2027 and Autumn 7 (September), 2026…).

Entry requirements
Academic - Good High school graduation grades or equivalent. Applicants must turn 18 by the 1st September of the year they are due to complete their ISC course and progress. Nationality - Only available to international (non-UK and non-EU students). Additional - For Engineering route: Student will require either GCSE Mathematics grade 6 or equivalent. For Life Sciences route: Student will require GCSE Biology and Chemistry (or combined science to include biology and chemistry) grade 6 or equivalent.
