About this course
University of Reading offers PhD Informatics and System Science as a 3-year doctoral Ph.D. programme in Computer Science. Based in Whiteknights, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £21,750 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 7 overall or TOEFL iBT 100. Intakes run across 2 windows (Semester 1 (September), 2026 and Semester 2 (February), 2027).

Entry requirements
You should have obtained an equivalent of a merit or above in a Master’s degree in a related science, social science or engineering field.
