About this course
University of Plymouth offers MSc Global Health as a 1-year postgraduate Masters Degree (Taught) programme in Public Health. Based in Online, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £11,350 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6.5 overall or TOEFL iBT 90. The next intake is Semester 1 (September), 2026.

Entry requirements
A recognised first degree (or equivalent) is normally required, with a minimum of an upper second-class honours degree (2:1) in a relevant subject area. Suitable disciplines may include (but are not limited to): global health, healthcare professions, media studies, politics and economics, human rights, health economics, health management, veterinary practice, community forestry, psychology, or sociology. Applicants with a lower second-class honours degree (2:2) or a recognised professional qualification at an equivalent level may also be considered, where they can demonstrate relevant experience or evidence of continued professional development.
