Entry requirements

42 Level 3 credits at Distinction plus three Level 3 credits at Merit

Applications are assessed on an individual basis. Where an offer is made, our standard requirements are:

Access to HE Diploma

RQF Level 3 BTEC National Extended Certificate D plus two A levels grades A*A (preferably combined with A level maths apart from BTEC's in engineering or science where an offer can be made without A level maths)

RQF Level 3 BTEC National Diploma DD plus one A level grade A* (BTEC's in engineering or science do not need to be combined with A level maths. BTEC's in business, construction or ICT preferably combined with A level maths)

RQF Level 3 BTEC National Extended Diploma in engineering or science D*DD (BTEC's in business, construction or ICT should preferrably be combined with A level maths)

RQF BTEC Nationals

GCSE maths 7 (A) or above OR 6 in standard level or 4 in higher level maths

IB requirements

36 points overall or 766 in 3 HL certificates

IB score

General studies, leisure studies, and global perspectives and research

Excluded subjects

GCSEs: Maths grade 7 (A) or above, unless taking it at A level; and English grade 4 (C) or above

A levels: Mathematics preferred
