About this course
University of Northampton offers Life Sciences MPhil as a 12-month postgraduate Masters Degree (Research) programme in Biological Sciences. Based in Northampton, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £16,350 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 7 overall. Intakes run across 2 windows (March, 2026 and October, 2026).
Scholarships are available to international applicants. The programme includes an industry internship element.

Entry requirements
An 2:i undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a Life Sciences related subject. or Master’s Degree from a UK university (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area. Students with lower-level qualifications or qualifications in a different subject area, but relevant experience will also be considered on an individual basis. We welcome applications from students with internationally recognised qualifications which are an equivalent to our entry requirements stated above.
