About this course
University of Liverpool offers BSc (Hons) Physics with Medical Applications as a 3-year undergraduate Bachelor Degree with Honours programme in Medicine and Medical Studies. Based in Liverpool, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £29,100 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6 overall or TOEFL iBT 78. Intakes run across 2 windows (Semester (September), 2026 and September, 2026).

Entry requirements
Access 45 Level 3 credits in graded units in a relevant Diploma,including 30 at Distinction and a further 15 with at least Merit. GCSE grades 4/C in English and 4/C in Mathematics also required. 15 Distinctions are required in each of Mathematics and Physics.
Welsh Baccalaureate Advanced Accepted at grade B, including Mathematics and Physics A Levels at AB.
Advanced Highers accepted at grades ABB including Physics and Mathematics.
Scottish Higher/Advanced Higher
Irish Leaving Certificate H1, H2, H2, H2, H3, H3 including Physics and Mathematics at H2 or above.
33 points that must include 6 points each from Physics and Mathematics at Higher level.
International Baccalaureate

BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma
For applicants from England: For science A levels that include the separately graded practical endorsement, a "Pass" is required.
