About this course
University of Kent offers PhD Pharmacy (Chemistry and Drug Delivery) as a 3-year doctoral Ph.D. programme in Chemical Sciences. Based in Chatham, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £23,500 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6 overall or TOEFL iBT 80. Intakes run across 4 windows (Spring (January), 2027 and Summer (April), 2026…).

Entry requirements
A first or 2.1 honours degree in an appropriate subject and a taught Master’s. Potential applicants with non-standard qualifications but significant experience should contact the School’s Director of Graduate Studies. All applicants are considered on an individual basis and additional qualifications, professional qualifications and relevant experience may also be taken into account when considering applications.
