About this course
University of Kent offers MSc Cyber Security as a 1-year postgraduate Masters Degree (Taught) programme in IT Security. Based in Canterbury, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £23,500 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6 overall or TOEFL iBT 80. Intakes run across 2 windows (Spring (January), 2027 and Autumn 1 (October), 2026).
Scholarships are available to international applicants. The programme includes an industry internship element.

Entry requirements
A first, 2.1 or good 2.2 honours degree (or equivalent) in computing or a related subject with a strong background in programming. All applicants are considered on an individual basis and additional qualifications, professional qualifications and relevant experience may also be taken into account when considering applications.
