About this course
University of Hertfordshire offers MSc Cyber Security as a 15-month postgraduate Masters Degree (Taught) programme in IT Security. Based in Hatfield, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £17,950 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6.5 overall. Intakes run across 3 windows (Semester 2 (January), 2027 and Semester 1 (September), 2026…).

Entry requirements
The entry requirements for the programme are: Either: • a good (2.2 or above) Honours degree (or equivalent) in civil or structural engineering. Or: • a good (2.2 or above) Honours degree (or equivalent) in a science related first degree in combination with extensive experience (>7 years) in working in the construction sector in positions that involve technical related decision making and design of projects for example.
