About this course
University of Gloucestershire offers PhD English and Creative Writing as a 4-year doctoral Ph.D. programme in Creative Arts. Based in Cheltenham, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.

Entry requirements
At least a 2.1 honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject. You will need to demonstrate your English proficiency, for example an IELTS score of 6.5 overall with no less than 6.0 in writing and 5.5 in any other band, or equivalent. TOEFL IBT: Total - 88, Reading - 22, Writing -24, Listening - 21, Speaking - 23.
