About this course
University of Gloucestershire offers Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) as a 4-year doctoral Ph.D. programme in Business Administration. Based in Cheltenham, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £8,825 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6.5 overall or TOEFL iBT 88. Intakes run across 10 windows (Semester 2 (January), 2027 and April, 2027…).

Entry requirements
Post-qualification professional practice
- A master’s degree or equivalent in a subject area relevant to the proposed research topic
- A minimum of two years’ post-qualification professional practice and ability to demonstrate professional competence of a high standard in the relevant research area
- EU and international students need IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 6.0 in writing and 5.5 in any other component) or equivalent.
