About this course
University of Exeter offers MSc Finance as a 1-year postgraduate Masters Degree (Taught) programme in Banking and Finance. Based in Exeter, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £35,000 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6.5 overall or TOEFL iBT 90. The next intake is Autumn (September), 2026.

Entry requirements
A 2:1 or above with honours in Accounting, Finance, Investment, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Physics, Maths or related discipline. Evidence of mathematical/quantitative* ability is essential. The majority of our candidates will be expecting a 2:1 degree, however, we do consider all applications where there is evidence of exceptional performance in modules relevant to the programme of study, significant relevant work experience or professional qualifications such as CFA, ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS and CIMA.
