About this course
University of Exeter offers MSc Bioarchaeology - Forensic Anthropology as a 1-year postgraduate Masters Degree (Taught) programme in Forensics. Based in Exeter, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £25,300 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6.5 overall or TOEFL iBT 90. The next intake is Autumn (September), 2026.

Entry requirements
IELTS: 6.5 overall and no less than 6 in any section; TOEFL iBT: 90 with minimum scores of 21 for writing, listening, reading and speaking; Pearson Test of English (Academic) PTE: 67 with no less than 64 in all communicative skills.
We will consider applicants with a 2:2 Honours degree with 53% or above in their first degree in forensic science, archaeology, history, ancient history, anthropology, biology, geography, geology, chemistry, heritage, or similar. While we normally only consider applicants who meet these criteria, if you are coming from a different academic background which is equivalent to degree level, or have relevant work experience, we would welcome your application. For applicants from different academic backgrounds or with relevant work experience, please use your Personal Statement to provide additional information.
