University of Essex offers MSc Advanced Computer Science as a 2-year postgraduate Masters Degree (Taught) programme in Computer Science. Based in Colchester, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.

Entry requirements
A 2:2 degree in one of the following subjects (with no module requirements): Computer Engineering; Computer Games, Computer Networks, Computer Science, Computing, Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering. We will consider applicants with any other 2:2 degree or above which includes: At least one Maths module, such as: Algebra, Calculus, Differential Equations, Mathematics, Probability, Statistics, Stochastic Processes and at least one Programming module from the following list: C, C# or C++, Data Structures, Introduction to Programming or Programming Languages, Software Engineering, Java or MATLAB, Object Oriented Programming (OOP), Programming Elements, Python, System Programming Algorithms.
