About this course
University of East London offers MSc Public Health as a 1-year postgraduate Masters Degree (Taught) programme in Public Health. Based in London, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £17,700 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6.5 overall or TOEFL iBT 60. Intakes run across 2 windows (Term 1 (September), 2026 and Term 2 (January), 2027).

Entry requirements
Students need minimum 2.1 Honours in a Health related subject. We would normally expect you to have Grade C in GCSE English and Maths. Applicants must have at least minimum of One year full-time professional experience in a health related subject. Applicants who have a lower second-class honours degree but have relevant employment experience in the health sector may be considered by the admissions tutor and the programme leader on an individual basis.Applicants whose qualifications do not conform to these criteria may be admitted to the programme at the admission tutors’ and programme leaders’ discretion
