About this course
University of Derby offers MSc Mechatronics as a 1-year postgraduate Masters Degree (Taught) programme in Engineering. Based in Derby, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.

Entry requirements
Applicants are normally expected to hold an appropriate first degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Robotics, Automation, Instrumentation, or a closely related discipline, with a minimum classification of 2:2 or above. Consideration may also be given to applicants with equivalent qualifications, such as a professional qualification of equal standing, or substantial industrial or professional experience gained following their initial qualification. Applicants whose first degree is not accredited by the Engineering Council as part of the initial learning requirements for Chartered Engineer (CEng) status may be required to undertake preparatory study, which may include final-year modules offered by the University.
