About this course
University of Derby offers MSc Biomedical Science as a 1-year postgraduate Masters Degree (Taught) programme in Biological Sciences. Based in Derby, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.

Entry requirements
Applicants are required to hold a UK Honours degree (minimum 2:2) in Biomedical Science or a related discipline with a high proportion of biomedical content, or an international equivalent. They must also provide evidence of competence in written and spoken English, such as a GCSE grade C or equivalent. An interview may be conducted at the discretion of the admissions team, depending on the applicant’s status. Alternative entry qualifications may be considered through Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning (RPEL), assessed on a case-by-case basis.
