About this course
University of Derby offers MSc Accounting and Finance as a 1-year postgraduate Masters Degree (Taught) programme in Accounting. Based in Derby, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £17,500 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6.5 overall or TOEFL iBT 81. Intakes run across 2 windows (Autumn (September), 2026 and Spring (January), 2027).

Entry requirements
Applicants are normally required to hold a good honours degree with an accounting background. To benefit from the dual learning opportunities offered by the MSc programme, candidates should possess a good honours degree in Accounting that provides exemptions from the first nine ACCA papers, or have successfully completed ACCA papers F1–F9. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure they are registered with ACCA.
