About this course
University of Cumbria offers PGCE Primary Education with Qts- General Primary (5-11) Years as a 1-year postgraduate Graduate Certificate programme in Teaching and Education. Based in London, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £16,000 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6.5 overall or TOEFL iBT 80. Intakes run across 2 windows (Semester 2 (January), 2027 and Autumn (September), 2026).

Entry requirements
Normally a first degree, or equivalent with a minimum of 2:2 honours. Three GCSEs at minimum grade C/4 or above to include English language, mathematics and science (including biology, chemistry or physics). A satisfactory academic (university) reference AND a satisfactory professional reference if more than three years since academic study.
