About this course
University of Bradford offers PhD (School of Archaeological and Forensic Sciences) as a 3-year doctoral Ph.D. programme in Forensics. Based in Bradford, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £19,500 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6 overall or TOEFL iBT 80. Intakes run across 4 windows (June, 2026 and February, 2027…).

Entry requirements
Selection of PGR students will be subject to successful interview (either in person or by Skype or conference call) by the supervisory team and one independent member of academic staff with significant PGR supervisory experience.
Applicants should have a Master's degree in a relevant subject; alternatively, we will consider students who have a relevant Bachelor's degree with at least upper second class honours (2:1) or equivalent. Exceptional candidates without such qualifications, but with extensive research experience, may also be considered.
