Entry requirements

Applicants are required to meet specific academic and additional entry criteria, including A Levels at BCC with at least one full A Level (no specific subject requirements), a T Level at Merit, or a BTEC Extended Diploma at DMM (both with no subject-specific requirements); candidates applying through Access Programmes must achieve 104 UCAS tariff points in Health Professions, Science, or Social Science subjects, while International Baccalaureate applicants must also meet 104 UCAS tariff points including at least one Higher Level (HL) subject, with HL grade 3 or Standard Level (SL) grade 4, and English Language and Literature A or English B; in addition, all applicants must hold GCSE English at grade C or grade 4 (or an accepted Level 2 equivalent), demonstrate an active interest in health and social care, and satisfy an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, as the course may involve working with children or vulnerable adults and requires evidence of the ability to do so safely.
