University of Birmingham offers BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science as a 3-year undergraduate Bachelor Degree with Honours programme in Biological Sciences. Entry requirements
Applicants are expected to achieve AAB at A Level, including two science subjects: one from Biology or Chemistry, and another from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, or Psychology. For the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, an overall score of 32 points is required, with grades of 6, 6, 5 at Higher Level to include at least two sciences from Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, Mathematics (either Analysis & Approaches or Applications & Interpretation), or Physics. BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate may be considered when taken alongside two science A Levels. A minimum of three A Levels is required in total. General Studies and Critical Thinking are not accepted. GCSE requirements include grade B/6 in Mathematics, and grade B/6 in Biology and Chemistry (or double award science) if these are not offered at a higher level.
