University of Birmingham offers BSc (Hons) Computer Science as a 3-year undergraduate Bachelor Degree with Honours programme in Computer Science. Entry requirements
Applicants are required to achieve A*AA at A-level, including grade A in Mathematics, with General Studies and Critical Thinking not accepted. For the International Baccalaureate (IB), candidates must obtain 7,6,6 at Higher Level, including a 6 in Mathematics, with a minimum of 32 points overall, and at least grade 5 in Standard Level English. BTEC qualifications are accepted only in combination with other qualifications, which must include A-level Mathematics (or equivalent), and BTEC IT is not accepted alongside A-level Computer Science. A minimum of three A-levels, including Mathematics at grade A, is required. While not essential, prior experience in computer programming is considered desirable, and Access qualifications are not suitable for this programme.
