About this course
Teesside University offers MSc Mechanical Engineering (with Advanced Practice) as a 2-year postgraduate Masters Degree (Taught) programme in Mechanical Engineering. Based in Middlesbrough, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £10,000 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6 overall or TOEFL iBT 60. Intakes run across 2 windows (Semester 2 (January), 2027 and Semester 1 (September), 2026).

Entry requirements
You will need a first degree equivalent to at least a UK second class (2.2) honours degree. Acceptable engineering degree subjects include mechanical, aerospace, aeronautical, manufacturing, production and mechanical systems.
