About this course
Teesside University offers MSc Advanced Biomedical Science as a 1-year postgraduate Masters Degree (Taught) programme in Biological Sciences. Based in Middlesbrough, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £17,000 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6 overall or TOEFL iBT 60. Intakes run across 2 windows (Semester 1 (September), 2026 and Semester 3 (May), 2026).

Entry requirements
Applicants are normally expected to have at least a UK 2.2 honours degree, or equivalent, in a subject related to life or physical sciences, for example biomedical science, human biology and biological science. If your first degree is not listed above, or you have non-standard qualifications and/or relevant experience.
