About this course
Robert Gordon University offers MSc/PgDip/PgCert Public Health and Health Promotion as a 13-month postgraduate Masters Degree (Taught) programme in Public Health. Based in Aberdeen, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £15,370 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6.5 overall or TOEFL iBT 88. The next intake is Semester 2 (February), 2027.

Entry requirements
This course is suitable for those working in health and social care, public health, health improvement, health promotion, local authorities, government, education, sports and leisure, private sector, occupational health, oral and dental health, non-governmental and voluntary organisations in the UK and internationally. Applicants normally hold a 2:2 undergraduate honours degree or its equivalent in any subject discipline. Applicants will be required to provide a Personal Statement in support of their application which demonstrates their understanding of the course and the relevance to their future plans. Applicants who do not meet the standard entry qualifications, but do have a professional qualification, combined with a minimum of two years relevant work experience, may be considered on a case by case basis. In such cases applicants will be called for an interview as part of the admission process. Applicants whose first language is not English should have an IELTS of 6.5 overall, with no component lower than 5.5, or an equivalent, TOEFL iBT overall 88 with 18 in reading, 20 in speaking, 17 each in writing and listening.
