About this course
Newcastle University offers International Commercial Law LLM as a 1-year postgraduate Masters Degree (Taught) programme in Business And Commercial Law. Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £25,900 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6.5 overall or TOEFL iBT 90. Intakes run across 2 windows (Autumn (September), 2026 and Autumn (September), 2027).

Entry requirements
We will also consider applications on an individual basis if you have lower or non-standard qualifications or experience in professional legal practice.
Applicants from non-law disciplines are normally required to have a 2:1 degree to demonstrate the academic capability needed to develop these skills from a new starting point at postgraduate level.
A 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent, from any other academic discipline.
A 2:2 honours degree, or international equivalent, in Law.
2:2 (Law) & 2:1 (Other) Hons degree.
