About this course
Middlesex University offers MA Honours International Relations as a 1-year postgraduate Masters Degree (Taught) programme in Political Science. Based in London, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £18,750 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6.5 overall or TOEFL iBT 87. The next intake is Autumn (September), 2026.

Entry requirements
For this course, ideally, we are looking for these qualifications: A 2:2 honours degree, or equivalent qualification, in a relevant social science or humanities subject – e.g. sociology, history, development studies, social policy, geography, philosophy, degrees in law, business studies, management, psychology and similar subjects that have some political components. If you have relevant qualifications or work experience, we may be able to count this towards your entry requirements. If you have degrees in other subject areas you will be considered if you have appropriate experience in working in government, public administration or international organisations (for example working in London embassies). You should submit a CV when you apply outlining your experience.
