About this course
Manchester Metropolitan University offers BSc (Hons) AI and Data Science with Foundation Year as a 4-year undergraduate Bachelor Degree with Honours programme in Computer Science. Based in Manchester, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £20,000 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6 overall or TOEFL iBT 79. Intakes run across 2 windows (Semester 1 (October), 2026 and Semester (September), 2026).

Entry requirements
GCE A levels - grades BBB, to include minimum grade B in one of the following subjects: IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, CCEA Digital Technology, Software Systems Development or a science subject. Pearson BTEC National Extended Diploma or OCR Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma - grade DDD in IT or Computing. Applicants with a qualification in Applied Science or Engineering will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Creative Digital Media Production is NOT accepted. Pass the IB Diploma with minimum 30 points overall or 120 UCAS Tariff points from three Higher Level subjects, including HL5 in at least one of IT, Computing, Mathematics or a science subject. If you plan to meet the Level 2 course requirements through your IB Diploma you will need to achieve Higher Level 4 or Standard Level 5 in English and Higher Level 4 or Standard Level 4 in Mathematics IELTS 6.0, with no component below 5.5 TOEFL IBT Overall score: 79 With no individual test score below: Listening: 17 Reading: 18 Speaking: 20 Writing : 17
