About this course
Manchester Metropolitan University offers MSc Advanced Physiotherapy as a 15-month postgraduate Masters Degree (Taught) programme in Physiotherapy. Based in Manchester, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £17,000 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6.5 overall or TOEFL iBT 89. Intakes run across 2 windows (Semester 2 (January), 2026 and Semester 1 (October), 2026).

Entry requirements
Applicants must hold a minimum 2:2 undergraduate honours physiotherapy degree (or international equivalent) and normally have post-qualification clinical experience. Students with less than two years of post-qualification clinical experience who are accepted onto the course may be restricted on the range of optional units that can be studied. Students with graduate diplomas in physiotherapy with evidence of learning and recent practice are also welcome to apply.
