London South Bank University offers PgCert Palliative and End of Life Care as a 1-year postgraduate Graduate Certificate programme in Nursing and midwifery. Based in London, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £12,400 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6.5 overall or TOEFL iBT 90. The next intake is September, 2026.

Entry requirements
Students will be required to have the following qualifications and experience: A degree in nursing, medicine or dentistry, or a degree in life sciences or social sciences with a classification of 2:2 or above from a UK or an overseas university. However, applicants with significant clinical experience at a senior level with evidence of a minimum 80 undergraduate degree level credits (at least 15 credits of which have been completed within the past 2 years) will also be considered. Students must be registered with a recognised professional body as appropriate. Full-time and international applicants must demonstrate that they have had at least 6 months work experience in a relevant setting prior to their enrolment on the course. For students whose first language is not English, one of the following is also required a first degree from a UK university or an overseas institution recognised by the university as providing adequate evidence of proficiency in the English language; for example, institutions in Canada, Australia, USA, etc. Or Possession of IELTS score of at least 6.5 across all four domains or its equivalent for students whose first language is not English. TOEFL iBT - Overall score: 90; Reading: 18; Listening: 17; Writing: 17; Speaking: 20.
