About this course
Liverpool John Moores University offers DSportExPsy Professional Doctorate in Sport and Exercise Psychology as a 27-month doctoral Ph.D. programme in Sport Science. Based in Liverpool, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £18,250 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 7 overall or TOEFL iBT 78. The next intake is Semester 2 (January), 2027.

Entry requirements
You need a good honours degree in Psychology conferring Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership from the British Psychological Society; and a BPS Accredited MSc in Sport and Exercise Psychology, normally at merit level or higher (we offer a BPS accredited Sport Psychology Masters at LJMU).
