About this course
Leeds Beckett University offers BSc (Hons) Applied Sport Studies - In Athletics as a 3-year undergraduate Bachelor Degree with Honours programme in Sport Science. Based in Leeds, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £16,000 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6 overall or TOEFL iBT 79. The next intake is Semester 1 (September), 2026.

Entry requirements
UCAS Tariff Points: 104-120 points required, GCSEs - GCSE English Language and Maths at Grade 4 or above (Grade C for GCSEs taken before 2017) or equivalent. Key Skills Level 2, Functional Skills Level 2 and the Certificate in Adult Literacy and Adult Numeracy are accepted in place of GCSEs, Access to HE Diploma - Pass overall with a minimum of 104-120 UCAS tariff points, T Levels - Pass overall with a minimum of 104-120 UCAS tariff points, including a C or above on the core, Scottish Awards - 104-120 UCAS tariff points from a minimum of 5 Highers of which at least 2 must be grade B or above, Irish Leaving Certificate - 104-120 UCAS tariff points from a minimum of 5 subjects at higher level of which at least 3 must be grade H3 or above, International baccalaureate - 104-120 UCAS tariff points from a minimum of 3 Highers of which at least 2 must be grade H5 or above. IELTS 6.0 with no skills below 5.5, or an equivalent qualification, TOEFL iBT total of 79 to 89 Minimum for Reading (18), Listening (17), Speaking (20) and Writing (17).
