About this course
Leeds Beckett University offers MSc Dietetics as a 2-year postgraduate Masters Degree (Taught) programme in Nutrition. Based in Leeds, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £18,000 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 7 overall. The next intake is Semester 1 (September), 2026.

Entry requirements
Applicants should normally have a science degree with at least a 2:1 classification which contains sufficient level and depth of biochemistry and human physiology as well as research skills and methodology. Biochemistry and human physiology should be studied to at least level 4 and an integration and application of these two subject areas to be studied to at least level 5. Research skills are also required to be studied to level 6 including a research project or dissertation. Applicants with a lower second class (2:2) will be considered on an individual basis depending on their overall transcript and experience they can demonstrate. Applicants who have achieved over 50% in the human science modules and / or have gained relevant work or voluntary experience with vulnerable communities and can demonstrate the skills achieved from this and how it matches the skills and behaviours required of health care professionals will be considered. Candidates who do not meet the requirements for biochemistry and human physiology will be advised about appropriate courses / modules they can take prior to admission to the course.
