About this course
Kingston University offers Master of Science in Biomedical Science - Medical Microbiology as a 1-year postgraduate Masters Degree (Taught) programme in Biological Sciences. Based in Kingston Upon Thames, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £20,000 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6.5 overall or TOEFL iBT 88. The next intake is Autumn (September), 2026.

All applicants must demonstrate sufficient understanding of immunology and medical microbiology. Candidates with non-standard qualifications but with relevant experience are also welcome to apply.
The typical offer for this course is a 2:2 or above honours degree in biomedical science, medical microbiology, medical genetics, molecular biology, haematology or immunology. Other biology and medical science degrees will be considered on an individual basis.
