About this course
Kingston University offers Master of Arts in Museum and Gallery Studies including Professional Placement as a 2-year postgraduate Masters Degree (Taught) programme in Librarianship. Based in Kingston upon Thames, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £23,700 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6.5 overall or TOEFL iBT 88. The next intake is Autumn (September), 2026.

If you already have certain qualifications or experience, you may not have to undertake all parts of this course. This is in accordance with the University's policy for the assessment of prior learning and prior experiential learning.
Don’t worry if you don’t have professional experience in museums and galleries. Voluntary museum work is not a requirement for acceptance on the course.
If you have relevant experience or qualifications in other subjects, we will consider your application individually.
