About this course
Kingston University offers Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering as a 1-year postgraduate Masters Degree (Taught) programme in Mechanical Engineering. Based in London, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £18,300 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6.5 overall or TOEFL iBT 88. The next intake is Autumn (September), 2026.

Entry requirements
Additionally, we will consider applicants not requiring the Matching Section under SARTOR 3 but interested in advanced study at MSc level on an individual basis. Typically, these applicants must have a relevant good honours level degree and/or industrial experience.
Relevant courses, including mechanical engineering, manufacturing, aerospace/aeronautical engineering and civil engineering, must include modules such as stress analysis and/or structures. Degrees in material science and product design will also be considered.
The typical offer for this course is a 2:2 or above honours degree in a relevant engineering discipline. This needs to have been accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers in partial fulfilment of the academic requirements for chartered engineer status, and/or suitable industrial experience.
