About this course
Durham University offers PhD Theology and Religion as a 3-year doctoral Ph.D. programme in Philosophy and Religious Studies. Based in Durham, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.

Entry requirements
For entry at MA level or for the Integrated PhD, you will normally be required to have a good honours degree (such as a First or a good 2:1/GPA 3.7 on a scale of 4.0) from a recognised institution, in Theology, Religious Studies or another relevant discipline. In addition to the bachelor degree requirement stated above, for entry at MLitt or PhD level you will normally be required to have a good MA degree (i.e. average above 65% or equivalent) in Theology or Religious Studies or another relevant discipline
