About this course
De Montfort University offers MSc Energy Engineering as a 1-year postgraduate Masters Degree (Taught) programme in Engineering. Based in Leicester, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £18,600 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6 overall. Intakes run across 2 windows (Spring (January), 2027 and Autumn (September), 2026).

Entry requirements
You should have the equivalent of a British Honours degree (2:2 minimum) in a relevant subject. We are happy to consider equivalent qualifications from anywhere in the world. If you have no formal academic qualifications but do have extensive industry experience we will consider your application on an individual basis.
