About this course
De Montfort University offers MPhil/PhD Design as a 3-year doctoral Ph.D. programme in Graphic and Design Studies. Based in Leicester, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £16,000 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6.5 overall. Intakes run across 4 windows (Spring (January), 2027 and April, 2027…).

Entry requirements
In order to be admitted as a candidate for a research degree an applicant shall normally: Possess a UK Honours degree with at least an upper second class honours, or an academic or professional qualification which the University deems to be equivalent (eg. an overseas qualification); and Demonstrate competence in the use of the English language to the satisfaction of the University.
