About this course
Cardiff University offers BEng (Hons) Architectural Engineering as a 3-year undergraduate Bachelor Degree with Honours programme in Engineering. Based in Cardiff, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £29,450 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6.5 overall or TOEFL iBT 90. Intakes run across 2 windows (Autumn (September), 2026 and Autumn 4 (September), 2026).

Entry requirements
A level - ABB-BBC. Must include grade B in Maths. International Baccalaureate - 32-30 overall or 665-655 in 3 HL subjects. Must include grade 6 in HL Maths. You must have or be working towards: English language or Welsh language at GCSE grade C/4 or an equivalent (such as A-levels). If you require a Student visa, you must ensure your language qualification complies with UKVI requirements. We do not accept Critical Thinking, General Studies, Citizenship Studies, or other similar equivalent subjects. We will accept a combination of BTEC subjects, A-levels, and other qualifications, subject to the course specific grade and subject requirements. IELTS - At least 6.5 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each sub-score TOEFL iBT - At least 90 with minimum scores of 17 for writing, 17 for listening, 18 for reading and 20 for speaking
