About this course
Cardiff Metropolitan University offers Master of Research (Strength and Conditioning) – MRes / PGCert as a 1-year postgraduate Masters Degree (Research) programme in Sports Management. Based in Cardiff, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £17,600 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6 overall or TOEFL iBT 72. The next intake is Term 1 (September), 2026.

Entry requirements
Applicants should normally have one of the following: An honours degree (2.1 or above) in a sport or exercise related area appropriate to the programme, An honours degree (2.1 or above) in an alternative discipline area that is acceptable to the Programme Director. Candidates with exceptional and extensive work experience in coaching, working within the health and fitness industry, sport science or exercise science will also be considered for entry to the programme.
