About this course
Bangor University offers LLM Law (Taught) as a 1-year postgraduate Masters Degree (Taught) programme in Law. Based in Bangor, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £19,000 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6.5 overall or TOEFL iBT 85. Intakes run across 3 windows (Semester 1 (September), 2026 and May, 2026…).
Scholarships are available to international applicants. The programme includes an industry internship element.

Entry requirements
We have many years’ experience of making offers of entry based on qualifications awarded worldwide and we welcome applications from international students. Entry will require a qualification deemed to be equivalent in level to the UK bachelor degree.
In general, all applicants are judged on their individual merits. Work experience and other factors are also taken into consideration.
We accept applications from graduates of LLB and other disciplines. For LLB graduates, we normally require a minimum of a lower second class degree from an approved University. Applications will be considered on a case by case basis for students with degrees in other subjects. Alternatively, possession of a suitable professional qualification or relevant practical experience may be accepted.
